Acurus (“Acurus”, “we”, “us”) is the data controller for information collected through acurus.me. For any privacy question or request, contact us at contact [at] acurus.me.

Browsing acurus.me on its own does not require you to hand over any personal information. If you submit the contact form, we collect your name, work email, and company name, plus a description of what you're trying to solve -- these fields are required. Phone number is optional; leave it blank if you'd rather not share it. We don't collect anything beyond those fields, and we don't use tracking cookies to build a profile of you.

We use contact form submissions for one purpose: to respond to your inquiry and evaluate whether Acurus is a fit for what you're trying to build. We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising or share it with data brokers.

Where GDPR applies, we process contact form data on the basis of your consent (you choose to submit the form) and our legitimate interest in responding to business inquiries directed at us. You can withdraw consent at any time by contacting us -- see “Your rights” below.

We use a small number of service providers to operate the contact form and host this site, each acting as a processor on our behalf under our instructions -- to store your submission, deliver the email notification that alerts us to it, and host the site itself. We don't publish the specific names of those providers here; email us and we'll give you the current list. We don't share your information with anyone outside that list, other than if required by law, and we never sell it or hand it to data brokers or advertisers.

Our service providers may process data in countries other than your own. Where a transfer originates in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, we rely on the safeguards those providers make available (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) to keep the transfer compliant.

We retain contact form submissions for as long as needed to respond to your inquiry and keep a reasonable business record of it, or until you ask us to delete it -- whichever comes first. Deletion requests are handled manually; email us and we'll confirm once it's done.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export the information we hold about you, to object to or restrict how we use it, and to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. acurus.me does not set tracking or advertising cookies. Our site analytics are cookieless -- they show us aggregate traffic patterns, not who you are, and don't track you across other sites.

acurus.me is a business-to-business site and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.

If we change how we handle your information, we'll update this page and revise the effective date above.
